I don't know -- but you might check with the Smith-Kettlewell Institute in San Francisco, as they have done a good bit of work with producing tactile maps lately.

Dear all

Greetings from Denmark.

I am currently researching accessible map/routing solutions such as Google Maps and Microsoft Maps. Does anyone know whether any surveys – formal or informal - have been conducted on this?

Kind regards

Lars
