Dear Colleagues

We are pleased to invite you to our seminar entitled 'Towards a
User-Friendly Web' which will take place on April 7th in
Amsterdam. This seminar is designed to provide participants with
practical tips on ways to make web sites more user-friendly.
Topics will cover design, appliances, functionality, effectiveness
and interfaces.

The seminar will feature the following speakers:

- Jacob Nielsen, user advocate and co-owner of the Nielsen
Norman Group,
- Bruce Tognazzini, lead designer for Healtheon,
- Brenda Laurel, designer researcher and writer, whose work
focuses on interactive narrative, Human Computer Interaction,
and cultural aspects of technology,

of Maryland at College Park,

California at San Diego and co-owner and computer consultant

usability before it became popular to do so.
