This looks like a commercial application of the "Baldy" technology that has been used at the Tucker-Maxon School for teaching profoundly deaf childeren to speak. The question here seems to be wether or not this is the most appropriate means of presenting the spoken information. Assuming that the animated face display requires a text stream for input, wouldn't it be much simpler to just display the text? More universal? Seems rather gimmicky to me. -- Jim
