On my own PC, I seem to have a problem of non-mouse pointing-device clicks
(pen) being interpreted as multiple clicks within a split-second.
In my Windows Accessibility options I have FilterKeys, which disregards
duplicate keyboard actions within a short, adjustable interval. Is there
any convenient way to do the same for the mouse?
I recognise that a solution would theoretically interfere with legitimate
double-click actions, and in a few applications with triple-clicks...
I'd also welcome a way to do reliable double-clicks with a cheap pen in the
first place, although the makers seem to have given up anyway and have given
me a separate button on the pen which supports "press once for
'double-click'", but in such a way that it may be producing some of my
unwanted extra clicks.
Perhaps the better answer for both issues would be a tablet mouse, with
cross-hairs. But they cost.
