Subject: [UACCESS-L] Help - eliminating extra clicks?

"On my own PC, I seem to have a problem of non-mouse pointing-device clicks
(pen) being interpreted as multiple clicks within a split-second..."

...and to clarify (thanks, Dave), this is specifically with a program
that has no concept of double-click, itself; I can easily adjust the
dividing line between double-click and two clicks, but that doesn't
help me.

If I could make the app itself distinguish double-clicks and
ignore them, that would help, and I have an idea or two for that;
and another notion is to use the pen for pointing but use another
device for left and right clicks - although that could be quite a
challenge to coordination. Again, if the application could
interpret pointer-hover as the click action, or if that could be done
before pointer messages reach the application, I'd have something.

But best of all would be a software solution that I don't have to
write myself ;-)

The program is, in fact, my one-hand pen tablet keyboard, cross-bred from
Fitaly from www.fitaly.com and RemoteKeys from www.freewarehits.de .
I'm typing capitals by pressing down, and lower case with the pen barrel
button, and it's the latter (as "left click") that's misbehaving.
The tricky task of holding the pen so that I can easily squeeze the barrel
/or/ press down on different at a better rate than one per second adds
to the fun. I'm proud how well it does work.
